Some 25 Nigerians have returned their WAEC results which they say they passed because they cheated. The Sun confirms that the citizens are ‘born again’ Christians who sat for the examination at school or private centres, and that the results were ‘acquired through fraudulent means’. And so, to obey the doctrine of restitution, they decided to return the results.

The breakdown of the year of examination revealed that the examinations include both those taken during the May/June and the November/December timetable. One of the candidates’ result dates back to 1980.

This is not the first time candidates would be returning their results. In 2014, 15 Christians did same, confirming that they committed fraud.
