BlackBerry set to Release First Android Device, Venice in November - See Specs

Finally submitting to the king of Mobile OS, BlackBerry has revealed it's plans to start producing Android devices and announced the BlackBerry Slider a.k.a Venice as a start.

Although, there had been some news that the "Prague" as it's Named will be the first device from BlackBerry to run the Android OS but the news we have from our sources reveals that the Venice will be a start for the project.

BlackBerry has dismissed all this claims, they're just rumours so we can't just confirm until it's official. Below is few of the specs of the BlackBerry Slider/Venice:

  • 5.4-inch Quad-HD display
  • 1.8 GHz 64-bit Hexa-core (Snapdragon 808 chipset)
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 18 MP rear-camera
  • 5 MP front-facing camera
Although, we don't have any information about the Internal memory and battery capacity but we should be expecting a minimum of 16GB and 2500mAh respectively.
